The uses of the mobile (cell phone) is quite endless.The possabilities are very exciting. Any time, any where information, purchases, music, entertainment etc.
There are also humanitarian initiatives out there that we want to honour. We often hear of them and then forget them. Here is a forum to not forget them.
This is also part of the motivation behind WiMD: Women in Mobile Data. This association was formed to encourage mwomen in mobile and intiatives that are targeted at underserved markets. (www.womeninmobiledate.com)

According to Telecom Tiger, Spice Telecom is about to launch UGC content for its Mobile TV service; the idea is that “citizen reporter” will be able to submit content that others can download.
